Quran was Tested by Best Poets of Time

In Prophecy on March 3, 2011 by Javed

2 – Ibn ‘Abbas narrated:

“al-Walid bin al-Mughirah (a polytheist) came to the Messenger of Allah. The Messenger of Allah recited the Qur’an to him, and al-Walid seemed to become affected and softened by it. Abu Jahl came to know of this, so, he came to al-Walid and said: “Don’t you see that your people are collecting charity for you?”

He said: “And why is that?”

Abu Jahl replied: “So that they can give it to you, as they see that you went to Muhammad to get some of his food.”

al-Walid said: “Quraysh knows that I am of the wealthiest of its sons.”

Abu Jahl said: “So, say to Muhammad something that would convince your people that you oppose him.”

al-Walid replied: “And what can I possibly say? There is not a single man who is more knowledgable of poetry or prose than I, or even that of the Jinn, and by Allah, what he says bears no resemblance to these things. By Allah, what he says has a sweetness to it, and a charm upon it; the highest part of it is fruitful and the lowest part of it is gushing forth with bounty; it dominates and cannot be dominated, and it crushes all that is under it.”"

[Reported by al-Hakim in 'al-Mustadrak' (2/506-507) and at-Tabari in 'Jami' al-Bayan' (29/156), and it is authentic]

3 – Jubayr bin Mut’im said:

“I heard the Messeger of Allah recite ‘at-Tur’ in the Maghrib prayer, and when he got to the verses {“Were they created by nothing, or were they themselves the creators? Or did they create the heavens and the earth? No, but they have no firm Belief. Or are with them the treasures of your Lord? Or are they the tyrants with the authority to do as they like?”} [at-Tur; 35-37], my heart wanted to fly from my body out of awe.”

['Tafsir Ibn Kathir'; 4/309]

4 – ‘Uthman bin ‘Affan said:

“If our hearts were truly pure, we would never get enough of the Words of our Lord, and I hate that one day passes with me not looking in the Mushaf.”

['al-Bidayah wan-Nihayah'; 7/215]

5 – Ibn Abi Mulaykah narrated:

“‘Ikrimah bin Abi Jahl used to press the Mushaf to his face and cry, saying: “The Book of my Lord! The Words of my Lord!”"

[Reported by 'Abdullah bin al-Mubarak in 'al-Jihad'; # 56]

6 – Bishr bin as-Sirri said:

“Verily, each verse is like a date: the more you chew it, the more of its sweetness is released.” Abu Sulayman heard this and commented: “True. It is the case with one of you that if he begins one chapter of it, he wants to read it to the end.”

['al-Hadith fi 'Ulum al-Qur'an'; p. 70]

DEAD BIRDS FALL OUT OF THE SKY IN CENTRAL SWEDEN

In Prophecy on January 5, 2011 by Javed

DEAD BIRDS FALL OUT OF THE SKY IN CENTRAL SWEDEN

First there were dead birds in Arkansas. Then in Louisiana.

But it’s not just America that God is trying to send a warning to. It’s Sweden, too, apparently.

TheLocal:

Shortly before midnight on Tuesday, residents found 50 to 100 jackdaws on a street in Falköping southeast of Skövde. The incident echoed a number of unexplained incidents earlier this week across the southern US.

County veterinarian Robert ter Horst believes that the birds may have been literally scared to death by fireworks set off on Tuesday night.

An Incredible Event that Occurred in Masjide Aqsaa

In Prophecy,Uncategorized on October 22, 2010 by Javed

Here is a summary of the event that occurred inside Masjide Aqsa, Jerusalem in early seventies in the last century. Qudratullah Shahab was a senior bureaucrat of Pakistan. He served as Deputy Commissioner, Secretary to President of Pakistan (Gen. Ayyub Khan), Education Secretary and Pakistan’s Ambassador to Holland. While he was serving as ambassador, he took keen interest in the affairs of Palestinians who were suffering under Israeli occupation.
At that time UNO was not so partial as it has become today.
They had received reports that Arabic Schools in occupied
Palestine were teaching anti-Islam syllabus and do not care
about protest by hapless Palestinians. Shahab offered his
services and the UN officials said they can provide a fake identity to him (as Pakistani Passport does not have Israel mentioned on it) so that he could go to Jerusalem to see for himself what is the real position on ground. They also offered to support him by providing a Palestinian guide.

Shahab found the guard very enthusiastic and helpful. He took him to places so that he could see the schools and submit his report to the UNO. He found that the Israelis were teaching insulting and blasphemous things about holy prophet of Islam (SAW) and when anybody protested, they either beat him or ignored him. He did his work laboriously. During the day, he toured schools and during nights he prepared reports for UN. He could not sleep at all. His Palestinian guide offered him to sleep in the masjide Aqsa after Isha prayers. He introduced him to the imam of the masjid. But he could not sleep there too!

When the Isha prayer was over, Shahab went to a corner of the masjid, to lie down there. But before he could sleep, he saw Prophet Muhammad (SAW) entering the masjid, followed by other prophets. They started praying under the leadership of Nabi Karim (SAW). Shahab went to the last saff(row) and started praying. The prayer continued whole night.
When Azan for Fajr prayers was recited, the prayers ended and the prophets returned. Shahab kept this event close to his heart and did not tell it to his friends, till he was retired and was interviewed by a famous writer Mumtaz Mufti on Radio Pakistan. But this fact was not included in the interview. Now the director has retired and written a book in which he has discussed important speeches and interviews
of his tenure.

I feel that the disclosure of the fact that Prophets of Allah come and prayed in the Masjide Aqsa, at this particular point in time, is a re-assurance by Allah (SWT) that Divine succor is very near, in sha Allah.

Please inform your brothers and sisters, dear brother,
about this true event.

City of Ludd running fast towards its destiny

In Prophecy on October 8, 2010 by Javed

According to a prophesy of prophet Muhammad, Christ son of Mary near Ludd kill the Anti-Christ near an Israeli city which
has gained notoriety for its endless crimes, criminal gangs, frauds, murders and sale of body parts of hapless Palestinians. Even Israeli PM has taken notice of the grave crimes rampant in the city. No doubt Israel is the kingdom of wicked
to be destroyed in just 45 years from 1967, the
year it illegally occupied Jerusalem, with the help
of USA and UK.

The murderous culmination of decades of neglect
By BEN HARTMAN

In Lod, the ‘City of Sin,’ all red lines are being crossed; Netanyahu: ‘I won’t allow Lod to turn into the Wild West.’

Checkpoints were set up throughout the city of Lod on Thursday, as police and border policemen checked passers-by for suspicious activity, and mounted policemen trotted down city streets.

Above it all, a blimp rented by the police filmed the scene below, while Prime MinisterBinyamin Netanyahu and Interior Minister Eli Yishai met with Mayor Ilan Hariri. The operation to restore public order and rid Lod (population about 68,000) of illegal firearms was launched on Tuesday night, following two murders there in the course of 30 hours. Both killings involved Arab residents of the city with no criminal record who were shot dead in driveby shootings in front of their children.

Following two murders, Border Police sent to Lod

It wasn’t the first time that Lod had made headlines after a resident died in a hail of gunfire. Only 20 minutes from Tel Aviv, the ancient Jewish/Arab city has burned itself a place in the Israeli psyche as home to drug dens, or “ATMs,” selling low-grade heroin hand over fist throughout its poorer districts, as well as the gunfights and blood feuds among its Arab crime families.

This time, the murders made the national news and suddenly, for the police, the prime minister and the media, Lod became a national priority, at least for a week.

Netanyahu vowed on Thursday that Lod “will not become the Wild West,” and that the government would invest in its social services and infrastructure, while Yishai added that the country needed to encourage 50,000 people to move there.

As the sudden influx of policemen, border policemen and politicians took place this week, locals spoke of decades of neglect by the law enforcement authorities and the national leadership.

According to them, the lack of personal security has been worsened by declining relations between the Jewish and Arab residents, and the loss of a sense of shared purpose that typified the city in past generations.

At the Lod branch of the Singor Foundation, which works to improve the well-being of residents of the blighted Ramat Eshkol neighborhood, manager Sigalit Givon-Fedida spoke of a local police force that has been all but absent for years.

“We rarely see police around here; even when people call them to report shootings, they only show up after a very long time,” Givon-Fedida said. She pointed to a community police station recently built across the street, where she said police were rarely, if ever, stationed or available, especially at night.

Givon-Fedida said the lack of law enforcement in the neighborhood encouraged crime, from graffiti to littering to disobeying traffic laws, leading eventually to murder.

Ramat Eshkol, while arguably not as troubled as the predominantly Arab Rakevet and Pardes Snir neighborhoods, bears the marks of a neglected inner-city slum, with trash and burned garbage cans strewn across vacant lots between the decaying apartment blocks.

The district is around 70 percent Arab, 20% Ethiopian and 10% elderly veteran Israelis. In addition to racial tension between the Arabs and the Ethiopians, there are schisms within the Arab community among Beduin, Israeli Arabs from the Lod area, and “mixed” families of Arabs from Israel married to Palestinians from the West Bank.

Ramat Eshkol is also home to a large number of “collaborators” – Palestinians from the West Bank and the Gaza Strip who helped the security forces during the first intifada and were relocated to Lod.

The latter have often had a very hard time adjusting to their new locale, and cut off from their extended families, they have become one of the most disadvantaged communities in the city.

“The highest number of complaints deal with the ‘collaborators’; police won’t touch them, and because they are such a poor community, high numbers of them go into crime. In addition, many of them are unaware of their rights, don’t speak Hebrew and don’t know how to receive the social services they are owed as citizens,” Givon-Fedida said.

The “collaborators” were mentioned time and again by Lod residents, including a group of three elderly Ashkenazi men sitting outside a kiosk on Wednesday night, two blocks from where Sami Hijazi was gunned down on Sunday.

“They brought into Lod all of these ‘collaborators’ and Arabs from the West Bank who married Israelis and moved here. It’s no longer safe in the Old City at night, and whoever has the ability to leave the city is leaving. What they need is for a religious mayor, a mayor who is a settler, to come in and deal with this problem,” said David, who, like his friends, has lived in the city since 1948.

David’s friend Arye agreed.

“If I’d known it would be like this someday, I would have fled this place,” he said.

Sara, who was born in the city to parents who made aliya from the Republic of Georgia, agreed that things had greatly declined in recent years, saying, “Now they’re killing women, killing people in front of their children. All the red lines are being crossed, and people have lost their values. These days, in Lod, there are more guns than in the IDF. Everything has changed.”

Like others, Sara said the problem was largely due to a lack of law and order.

“People don’t have faith in the law, so they don’t pay attention to it. People here do whatever they want. Everything is allowed here. It’s why in Lod we call it the City of Sin,” she said.

Still, Sara expressed a sense of pride common among Lod residents, saying, “I wouldn’t live anywhere else, though. Even if you gave me a villa in Rishon [Lezion], I wouldn’t leave here. This is my home; everybody in Lod feels this way.”

Aviv Wasserman, who runs the Lod Community Foundation, said that politicians “need to know that Lod is a city with great things, not only murders. The police deployment will help deal with the symptoms of the disease, but the disease needs to be treated at the roots, with social projects and investment, not just with a company of Border Police officers.”
